Great food and great service. Really easy to book online the food comes out soon after ordering and it&rsquo;s so fresh. The Barra is a must and so is the salt and pepper Tofu.

Pilu at Freshwater sparkled as always and Chef Giovanni&#39;s Sardininan fare is sublime as per usual. The only thing I wish he would change on his tasting menu is perhaps the last course which is the Sardinian fried pastry, Seadas . While it is good, it would be nice to have something different as it has been on the tasting menu for all the years I have been visiting the restaurant.

The venue was located right at the coast of freshwater beach and was the perfect setting for a seafood dominated menu which the local produce beautiful. The standout of the night was the suckling pig which had a strong umami flavour balanced out well by the fennel and buffalo fetta.

Pilu is one of those restaurants in Sydney that is a MUST GO TO ! The food is superb, the location is superb, the service is exemplary...we go as often as we can afford (it is expensive but WORTH IT !) Every dish, Sardinian of course, is explained and presented with flair and expertise... JUST GO !!!

One of my favourite restaurants! Food is insanely delicious, fresh and so beautifully presented. And the panoramic view of Freshwater beach is matched with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It&rsquo;s the perfect blend of fine dining with a casual feel. Can&rsquo;t wait for our next excuse to return ????
